The Trump family is taking the stand in New York Attorney General Letitia James' $250 million civil fraud trial against the family and their company this week, with Donald Trump Jr. expected to testify Wednesday.

Donald Trump Jr.'s younger brother, Eric Trump, is expected to testify late Wednesday or Thursday, according to NBC News.

Former President Donald Trump is expected to testify Monday, while his daughter, Ivanka Trump, will testify after him.

The former president took to Truth Social early Wednesday morning to argue that the case should be dismissed as he criticized James, presiding Judge Arthur Engoron and former attorney Michael Cohen, who testified against Trump last week.

"Leave my children alone, Engoron," Trump wrote. "You are a disgrace to the legal profession!"

Engoron sided with James in the civil fraud case in September by ruling that Trump could be held liable for defrauding insurers and banks by inflating the value of his assets, which would have given him better prices for loans and insurance.

James' office says that Trump's children were "aware of, and knowingly participated in" the scheme for years. Ivanka Trump was dropped from the case after an appeals court ruled that the allegations were beyond the statute of limitations.

James is seeking $250 million in damages and to bar Trump and his sons from serving as officials of any New York company.
