Trump files personal financial disclosure that details post-presidency earnings
Trump's company, Trump Media & Technology Group Corp., is valued between $5,000,001 and $25 million.
Former President Donald Trump filed a personal 101-page report earlier this week that goes into detail about his earnings ever since he left the White House.
The financial disclosure was filed with the Federal Election Commission because Trump is running for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination. It provides broad details about how much money he has made on multiple business ventures.
According to the document obtained by The Hill, Trump made more than $5 million in speaking engagements.
His group, Trump Media & Technology Group Corp., which is tied to his social media platform TRUTH Social, is valued between $5,000,001 and $25 million, according to the financial disclosure form, though it showed he earned less than $201 from the company.
Bloomberg News reports that the document indicates Trump's business holdings are valued at at least $1.2 billion.
The FEC has a requirement that candidates file their personal financial disclosures within 30 days of launching their campaigns.
Trump officially declared his candidacy in November, but his lawyers got him two separate 45-day extensions, giving him until March 15.
The FEC warned that the 45th President could face a $200 fine if the disclosure was filed more than 30 days later than March 15.
