President Trump on Wednesday installed two brand-new flagpoles outside of the White House after announcing this “personal project” in April.

“It is my Great Honor to announce that I will be putting up two beautiful Flag Poles on both sides of the White House…it is a GIFT from me of something which was always missing from this magnificent place,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social yesterday.  “These are the most magnificent poles made…Hopefully, they will proudly stand at both sides of the White House for many years to come!”

One flagpole was placed on the north lawn, while the other was placed on the south lawn. Each pole cost $50,000 to complete.

Trump reportedly chatted with construction workers on the lawn on several occasions this week.

“I don’t know them, but I love them, and would bet they all voted for Trump,” he told The New York Post on Monday.

It has also been reported that this project was funded by Trump personally.
