President Donald Trump's business empire on Monday announced it will roll out a new phone plan, along with a nearly $500 smartphone, in September, marking the latest venture for the Trump Organization that connects it with the sitting president.

The announcement comes days after the president revealed that he made more than $12 million in royalties from various luxury items last year, including a guitar, sneakers, watches and Bibles.

The new service, titled "Trump Mobile," will cost $47.45-per-month, and includes unlimited talk, text and data, unlimited international calls to over 100 countries, roadside assistance and telehealth assistance. The cost is a nod to the president, who is the 47th president and was the 45th commander-in-chief during his first term.

"I'm incredibly excited to step into this new digital space. Hard-working Americans deserve a wireless service that's affordable, reflects their values, and delivers reliable quality they can count on," Eric Trump, the organization's executive vice president, said. "We're especially proud to offer free long-distance calling to our military members and their families — because those serving overseas should always be able to stay connected to the people they love back home."

The new smartphone, named "T1," features a gold-colored metal case etched with an American flag.
