Former President Donald Trump on Friday morning railed against what he says is his imminent indictment by a Manhattan district attorney over hush money he paid to porn actress Stormy Daniels.

"What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country?" Trump posted on the Truth Social social media site.

A grand jury is purportedly meeting to review whether Trump broke any laws when during his 2016 presidential campaign he had fixer-attorney Michael Cohen pay Daniels $130,000 to stay silent about an extra-marital affair she alleged occurred and  Trump denies.

Trump said Saturday that he was going to be indicted Tuesday.

"Why & who would do such a thing?" Trump also asks in the post. "Only a degenerate psychopath that truely hates the USA!”
