Trump requests high level military security due to Iranian threats

GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is requesting military level security, citing threats from Iran.
According to a report from The Associated Press, members of Trump's campaign have requested military aircraft for security.
Multiple Iranians were recently indicted by a grand jury on charges that are related to former President Trump's 2024 presidential campaign being hacked.
The federal charges involve individuals who stole internal Trump campaign communications in an Iranian operation, according to Politico, citing "three people familiar with the investigation." The stolen information was then given to some journalists and people connected to the Biden re-election campaign before he dropped out of the race.
On Friday, the Secret Service said that Trump is already receiving "the highest levels of protection," in response to the 45th president's request for higher security.

“Look, what I’ve told the department is to give him every single thing he needs for his — as if he were a sitting president,” Biden said, according to The AP. “Give him all that he needs. If it fits within that category, that’s fine. But it doesn’t, he shouldn’t.”
