Trump salutes during national anthem at Army-Navy football game, crowd chants 'USA'

In attendance at the game along with Trump were Vice President-elect JD Vance, Daniel Penny, Elon Musk, Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, Mike Johnson, Ron DeSantis, John Thune and Dave McCormick.

President-elect Donald Trump attended the 125th Army-Navy football game on Saturday where he saluted during the national anthem. 

Upon his arrival, chants of "USA" broke out in the stadium in Landover, Maryland, according to Fox News.

In attendance at the game in the suite reserved for President-elect Trump was Vice President-elect JD Vance. Others who came as Trump's guests included Elon Musk, Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth, Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis, Director of National Intelligence nominee Tulsi Gabbard, Speaker Mike Johnson, soon to be Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senator-elect Dave McCormick, R-Pa.

Former Marine Daniel Penny attended as Vance's personal guest. 

This season, Army is in the AP Top 25 and Navy was earlier in the year. The two teams have combined for 19 victories this season, the most ever entering this historic rivalry.
