GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump accused Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign of trying to repeat the "Russia collusion" hoax for the 2024 election.

"Comrade Kamala Harris and her Department of Justice are trying to interfere in and suppress the Election in favor of the Democrats by resurrecting the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, and trying to say that Russia is trying to help me, which is absolutely FALSE," Trump wrote Thursday on TRUTH Social.

Earlier this week, the DOJ indicted two Russian nationals for spending millions on a scheme to advance "Russian government messaging" to audiences in the U.S.

"The Justice Department will not tolerate attempts by an authoritarian regime to exploit our country’s free exchange of ideas in order to covertly further its own propaganda efforts, and our investigation into this matter remains ongoing," Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement.

Trump further said that Russia would prefer Harris as president.

"In fact, President Putin would much rather see Comrade Kamala Harris in Office, as he strongly said just this morning," Trump said.
