President Donald Trump on Saturday evening continued to press his case to keep Washington in Republican hands, vowing to deliver a $100 million investment in a Kentucky drug company if his party wins the midterm election.

Trump teased the potential War Department investment in the pharmaceutical company Antheia during a rally at Northern Kentucky University.

“That’s a big revitalization project,” Trump told the crowd. “But, if the Democrats win … they wouldn’t be able to do it. They wouldn’t even know what you’re talking about.”

Trump also made the case for voters to turn out in record numbers in the midterm by treating it like it was another presidential election.

“This is the most important midterm in the history of our country because we’ve gotten more things done, and they can undo them if we start losing an election, especially this one,” he said. “So, pretend I’m on the ballot.”
