Trump vows to debate Biden on migrant crime after two charged with killing child in Texas

"We have a new Biden Migrant Killing - It’s only going to get worse, and it’s all Crooked Joe Biden’s fault," Trump posted to Truth Social. "He’s a disgrace to the Office of President, he’s a disgrace to America. I look forward to seeing him at the Fake Debate on Thursday. Let him explain why he has allowed MILLIONS of people to come into our Country illegally!"

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday said he would question President Joe Biden during next week's debate on the recent string of people who have come into the country illegally accused of killing of American citizens.

The former president was responding to reports that two illegal Venezuelan immigrants allegedly raped and killed a 12-year-old girl in Texas this week, despite being caught by border patrol agents earlier this year. One of the pair was released because of a policy from the Biden administration that allows asylum seekers to come into the U.S. with a notice to appear, and it is unknown why the other was released.

An unrelated illegal immigrant that was originally from Ecuador admitted that he raped a 13-year-old girl in Queens, New York, last week, despite also being briefly detained by border patrol.

The two migrants have been arrested for the murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, who was allegedly raped and strangled. The two men have been identified as Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, and have been charged with capital murder, the Houston police department told Fox News on Thursday.

Houston Mayor John Whitmire urged the court to try the two men quickly.

"We're going to be watching you; the arrests have taken place, and the charges have been filed. Now, we want the justice system to do its job. If there was ever a circumstance where you do not give someone bail, this is it," Whitmire said.

Biden and Trump are expected to debate each other in the first presidential debate in Atlanta next week, which will be hosted by CNN. Trump will give the closing argument.
