The Biden administration has begun to provide congressional leaders with classified materials recovered from President Joe Biden's residences and offices, as well as those recovered from former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence.
Top leaders of the House and Senate began to receive the materials last week, according to the Washington Times. The handover followed months of frustration from congressional leaders over the administration's stonewalling on the issue.

Former Vice President Mike Pence earlier this year announced that he had discovered documents marked classified in his Indiana home. The FBI subsequently searched his residence.
Biden's document scandal has also attracted considerable attention, following revelations that his lawyer discovered classified materials at the Penn Biden Center in Washington while clearing out Biden's old office. Subsequent searches of the president's residences turned up more documents at his Delaware home.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed special counsels Robert Hur and Jack Smith to handle its investigations into Biden and Trump, respectively.
