Biden slips while exiting Air Force One, hours after reports of work with physical therapist
At age 80, Biden has attracted concerns about his fitness to remain in office or complete a second term.
President Joe Biden appeared to slip while descending the stairs from Air Force One on Tuesday, just hours after a report that his campaign was actively working to prevent such a spectacle.
Video footage showed the commander-in-chief appear to lose a step while walking down the exit ramp, though he managed to recover and avoid falling outright.

The stumble followed an Axios article entitled "Biden team's don't-let-him-trip mission" that revealed the president is working with a physical therapist to improve his balance and has worn tennis shoes more often to minimize the risk of slipping.
At age 80, Biden has attracted concerns about his fitness to remain in office or complete a second term. A string of unpleasant tumbles and a habit of telling bizarre stories have fueled such speculation and may be a contributing factor in his falling poll numbers in a potential matchup with former President Donald Trump.
His worst fall occurred in June, when he stumbled to the ground while on stage at the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation ceremony. In June of the prior year, he fell off a bike while attempting to dismount.
