Journalist and commentator Bill O'Reilly says that most Americans won't remember the Jan. 6 hearings, and he refers to them as "entertainment."

"It's entertainment, I guess," O'Reilly said, referring to the Jan. 6 committee hearings on the Thursday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "As far as history is concerned, it's nothing. Nobody will remember it. It was obviously put into place to try to come up with something to embarrass Donald Trump or ruin Donald Trump. It has failed."

The Jan 6. committee voted to subpoena former President Trump during its public hearing on Thursday.

"This subpoena play for Trump it's going nowhere," O'Reilly stated. "You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it."

"The GOP will take the House, and that'll be the end of January 6," O'Reilly continued. "A week before the election the January 6 committee will issue a report that says Trump did everything. Trump was invisible. He was in the Capitol. Nobody saw him but he broke windows."

O'Reilly has a new book out titled Killing the Legends: The Lethal Danger of Celebrity. The book is about fame and celebrity told through the stories of Elvis Presley, John Lennon and Muhammad Ali.

"All three of these men: Elvis Presley, John Lennon and Muhammad Ali, directly influence how we live today," O'Reilly explained.

"Their fame destroyed them. That is the theme of the book," he concluded.
