Caitlyn Jenner starts PAC to oppose 'radical gender ideology,' biological men in women's sports
Jenner is an Olympian, Republican and former California gubernatorial candidate.
Olympian, Republican and transgender Caitlyn Jenner announced the start of a political action committee to support parents and children "rejecting radical gender ideology" – including that biological men can compete against women in sports.
Jenner, who won the 1976 Olympic Decathlon as a biological man and has since transitioned to identifying as a woman.
On Tuesday, Jenner, a 2021 California GOP gubernatorial candidate, announced the start if the Fairness First PAC.
"From the top of the ballot on down, this is what we will fight for," the 73-year-old Jenner said in announcing the back on Twitter. "We will continue all aspects of protecting women in sports and put our parents back in charge of their child’s education!"
Jenner also said the PAC will try to raise money to support candidates who "fight the radical gender ideology, put parental rights at the forefront of education, and keep boys out of women’s sports," according to Fox News.
