Crazed driver shoots at Denise Richards and husband in L.A. road rage incident

An irate motorist reportedly fired upon actress Denise Richards and her husband Aaron Phypers while the pair were driving to a Los Angeles studio.

While Phypers was attempting to locate Popsicle Studio L.A., the "driver behind them was getting irritated, shouting at them while trying to squeeze in front of them," according to TMZ.

Though the pair allowed the driver to pass them, he nonetheless was reportedly furious enough to open fire on their vehicle with a gun. At least one bullet hit the vehicle on the driver's side near the rear. There were no injuries.

The extent of police involvement was not known as of press time, though TMZ noted that someone present at the studio noticed the gunshot and called 911. Richards arrived on the scene visibly distraught.

The actress is known for her roles in Starship Troopers, Wild Things, The World Is Not Enough, and many films and television programs.
