The Trump administration announced Tuesday it's moving to terminate all remaining federal government contracts with Harvard University.

The effort was put forth in a letter from the General Services Administration to federal agencies' top procurement officials that calls on them to review contracts for termination, as first reported by The New York Times.

The letter also alleges Harvard “continues to engage in race discrimination” in its admission process and other areas of campus life, and the contracts are worth a reported $100 million, according to CNBC.com.

The administration's move is the latest against Harvard over concerns including the school having not done enough to end antisemitism and diversity, equity and inclusion policies. The school has in turn mounted legal challenges.

"As you know, being a counterparty with the federal government comes with the deep responsibility and commitment to abide by all federal laws and ensure the safeguarding of taxpayer money,” the letter also reads.
