Former President Barack Obama is set to campaign next Thursday in the Pittsburgh area for Vice President Kamala Harris and continue to appear in other swing states through Election Day, according to a report citing a senior Harris campaign official.

Obama last spoke in support of Harris at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. His wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama, also addressed the convention. It is unclear if she will be joining her husband on the campaign trail for Harris.

The official announcement is expected at some point soon.

Obama follows other high-profile surrogates who have campaigned for Harris such as Oprah and former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney. Actress Jennifer Garner will be campaigning for Harris in Arizona.
