GOP Conference Chair Stefanik touts $10 million haul for party candidates, committees this cycle
Stefanik's camp points out that the number is more than six times what predecessor Liz Cheney raised in less time.
GOP House Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik announced Tuesday that she has raised $10 million thus far this cycle for candidates and committees ahead of the forthcoming midterm election.
Stefanik, who recently hit the one-year mark as chamber No. 2 Republican, has proven herself to be a formidable fundraiser as she prepares for her party's effort to recapture control of the House in November.
During this cycle,, Stefanik has to-date raised $7 million that has gone directly to candidates – primarily accumulated through her national digital fundraising efforts, and $3 million that has been transferred to the National Republican Congressional Committee.
Stefanik's camp points out that the $10 million haul is "more than 6 times what her predecessor Liz Cheney did, in less time."
"With less than 120 days until Election Day, we are in an incredibly strong position to fire Nancy Pelosi as Speaker once and for all, and I look forward to running alongside the strong Republican team across the finish line as we earn the most historic and diverse Republican majority in our nation's history," Stefanik said.
Through her combined campaign efforts, in addition to WinRed, and the Elise Victory Fund, to E-PAC – her PAC to recruit and elect more GOP women to Congress – Stefanik has raised more than $15 million this cycle.
