With just weeks to go before the Arizona GOP primary, the race is shaping up to be a tight duel between Trump- and Pence-endorsed candidates.

Karrin Taylor Robson, a housing developer, now has the support of former Vice President Mike Pence, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

"Karrin Taylor Robson is the only candidate for Governor that will keep Arizona's border secure and streets safe, empower parents and create great schools, and promote conservative values," Pence said in his endorsement.

Her opponent, Trump-endorsed candidate Kari Lake, is a longtime local TV anchor who was backed by Trump early in the campaign cycle.

With just under two weeks to go before the Aug. 2 primary, Lake leads in the polls by a margin of 39% to Robson's 35%, but the gap has closed significantly over the past several weeks.

Robson received a large boost after receiving the endorsement of former U.S. Rep. Matt Salmon, who dropped out of the race last month.

In a side-by-side representation of the Republican Party's divisions. Mike Pence is scheduled to campaign for Robson in Arizona on Friday, the same day Trump is scheduled to host a rally in support of Lake's campaign.

Robson has quintupled Lake's spending as of the end of June, drawing on large amounts of her own money to spend big on advertising.
