Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer welcomes retired ABC newsman Sam Donaldson’s endorsing Democrat Michael Bloomberg for president.

Spicer argues that the former White House network correspondent's endorsement helps expose the long running issue of “journalists, whom we know are leftists, but want to pretend that they’re neutral.”

“I’m glad he did it,” "Spicer also said in a recent podcast interview with Just the News’ David Brody. “It pulls back the veil and says, 'Let’s stop kidding ourselves, you’re not neutral, you’re not unbiased, you’re all Democrats.’ ”

Spicer, who was a top Republican National Committee official before become President Trump's first press secretary, also weighed in on Bloomberg’s late entry into the race and his limitless resource pool.

“I don’t know how fired up the Democratic base is going to be for Mike Bloomberg,” but the “X factor” his campaign has is “how much money this guy is willing to spend,” he said.

“If he does well, it’ll be interesting to see who drops out and how the deck reshuffles,” said Spicer of Bloomberg, who was met with a harsh welcome at the Democratic debate in Nevada on Tuesday evening.

Brody, of course, couldn’t let Spicer get away without inquiring about his recent stint on ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars." The former press secretary said he “couldn’t have been more pleased with how [the show] went,” despite it being “intimidating” at the start.

Spicer is gearing up to begin hosting his new daily talk show, Spicer & Co., which will air its first episode at 6 p.m. ET on March 3 - Super Tuesday.
