Firefighters union declines presidential endorsement for 2024 election

General President Edward Kelly says members voted “by a margin of 1.2%” against choosing a candidate.

International Association of Fire Fighters with a membership of about 300,000 became the second major union to decline to make a presidential endorsement for the 2024 election.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters was the first union to decide not to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Trump.
