Former President Jimmy Carter, 100, votes for Kamala Harris for president in Georgia
Carter, who now resides in an assisted-living facility near his hometown of Plains, Georgia, voted by drop box.
Former President Jimmy Carter, who turned 100 on Oct. 1, has voted for fellow Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
His ballot was placed in a drop box at the Sumter County Courthouse close to his hometown of Plains, Ga.
Before turning 100, Carter told his son, Chip, he was more excited to vote for Harris than he was for his birthday, the according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
His son told the newspaper his father “absolutely” voted for Harris.
