Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is set to be arraigned Tuesday in a Phoenix courtroom on conspiracy, forgery and fraud charges in connection with an alleged plot to overturn then-President Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss in Arizona to Democrat Joe Biden.

Former Arizona Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward and nine others will be arranged in connection with so called "fake electorate" case, according to MSNBC.com.

There are 17 defendants in the case.

Giuliani was served Thursday with the notice of his indictment in connection with the case hours after he posted on social media that Arizona’s Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes had failed to deliver the indictment.

He was served at celebration in Palm Beach, Florida, for his 80th birthday, MSNBC also reports.
