Harris, Walz while on Georgia bus tour to tape CNN interview that will air Thursday night
The CNN interview, conducted by Dana Bash on Thursday, will be pre-taped and aired in the evening
Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will on Thursday sit-down for their pre-taped CNN interview while on a bus tour across swing state Georgia.
The pre-tape is set for 1:45 p.m and the interview will air at 9 p.m., according to CNN.
The interview will be Harris' first major TV interview of her presidential campaign that started in late July.
Harris has faced some criticism from across the political spectrum for having yet to agree to a one-on-one interview with a major TV network or hold a press conference in which she takes questions from reporters in an unscripted setting.
