Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announces attorney Nicole Shanahan as his VP pick

Democrat-turned-Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Tuesday announced San Francisco attorney Nicole Shanahan as his vice president pick. 

"I want Nicole to be a champion," Kennedy said. "Nicole and I both share doubts about the corporate-captured uniparty."

Kennedy Jr. made the announcement in Oakland, California.

Shanahan is an attorney and entrepreneur who gave a large amount of money to a Super PAC backing Kennedy Jr.
