Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., is projected to lose the Democratic House primary for Missouri's first district, the Associated Press reports.

Bush's opponent, St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell, is ahead with 51% of the vote with 85% reporting.

Bush currently represents the district and is a member of the far-left "squad" on Capitol Hill.

Bush has faced criticism during her time in Congress over her positions on Israel and its ongoing war against Hamas. She has voted against emergency funding for Israel and accused the country of committing a genocide.

Bell has gotten the support of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Federal Election Commission records show.

NPR reports that Bush's primary was one of the most expensive House primaries in recent history.
