Earlier in the evening, Trump was projected to win both Georgia and Mississippi.
Former President Donald Trump is projected to win the Republican primary in Washington on Tuesday night.
The Associated Press called the race for Trump, who earned 76.6% of the vote as of 11:06 p.m. with 7% of precincts reporting. Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley placed second with 19.3%, though she left the race last week.
Earlier in the evening, Trump was projected to win both Georgia and Mississippi.
Prior to the Washington race call, Trump had earned 1,185 delegates of the necessary 1,215, according to the Associated Press. The state boasts 43 in the GOP primary, though it remains unclear as of press time whether he has secured enough to claim the party nomination outright.
