Independent reporter Ken Klippenstein was banned from the social media platform X after he posted a dossier on GOP vice presidential nominee Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio.

The 271-page dossier on Vance was reportedly stolen from the Trump campaign in a hack.

His original post was flagged for containing “several references” to a home address for Vance the first few digits of his Social Security number. He later posted an updated dossier but his account was removed on Monday.

Vance and Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate are set to debate on Tuesday evening.
