Just one-third of U.S. adults think former President Trump, the presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee, committed a crime in the hush money case involving porn star Stormy Daniels, according to a new AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll.

However, half of the respondents in the poll would consider Trump unfit for the presidency if he is convicted in the hush money case for allegedly falsifying business documents to hide the payment made to Daniels.

The poll also found that about half of respondents believe Trump acted illegally in the other three criminal cases he is currently fighting.

The trial for the hush money case formally began on Monday, which made Trump the first former president to stand trial for an alleged crime.
