Liz Cheney campaigns with Harris in Ripon, Wisconsin, birthplace of Republican Party

Former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney is set to campaign on Thursday with Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris in the battleground state of Wisconsin.
The event with Cheney will take place at a school house in Ripon, Wisconsin, which is considered the birthplace of the Republican Party, according several news outlets.
Cheney is among fellow Republican Donald Trump's most outspoken critics. She voted to impeach Trump and served on theHouse select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot.
She endorsed Harris over Trump, who is seeking reelection.
Cheney, of Wyoming, lost reelection in 2022.
