Larry Elder ends 2024 presidential campaign, endorses Trump
Elder is the fourth significant candidate to suspend or end his 2024 presidential bid.
Conservative talk show host Larry Elder ended his presidential campaign on Thursday and endorsed former President Donald Trump.
"Although I am suspending my campaign for president, my commitment to addressing the crisis of fatherlessness, promoting conservative ideals, and supporting the MAGA movement remains unwavering," Elder wrote in a statement. "I will continue to work tirelessly to advocate for the issues that matter most to the American people."
Elder is the fourth significant candidate to suspend or end his 2024 presidential bid.
"Honored to have just met with [Donald Trump] to lend him my endorsement for President," Elder wrote on X. "I am grateful for the support I received from so many of you across the country."
Other candidates that have dropped out include Miami Mayor Francis Suerez, former Texas Rep. Will Hurd, and businessman Perry Johnson.
