Lauren Boebert switching districts for upcoming 2024 race

Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., announced Wednesday that she would be switching districts in 2024 for the upcoming congressional race. 

“I am going to do everything in my power to represent the 3rd District well for the remainder of this term as I work to earn the trust of grassroots conservative voters in the 4th District to represent them in 2025,” Boebert said in a video on Facebook.

Boebert has represented the 3rd district of Colorado since 2020. She won reelection in 2022 by just a few hundred votes. 

"This is the right move for Colorado," Boebert said in the video. 

Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., currently represents the district Boebert is bidding for.
