Liberal activists snatching up Trump campaign rally tickets to cause empty seats
"So a bunch of us signed up for the Trump rally here in Traverse City Friday to take all the free tickets we could and not show up," wrote a member of the Blue Revolution Facebook group, which has more than 106,000 members.
Anyone can sign up on the Trump campaign website to receive tickets at no charge to former President Trump's rallies and liberal activists supporting his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, appear to be taking advantage of the system.
Liberal activists are snatching up Trump campaign rally tickets with the intent of not attending so more seats appear empty on television and in photos.
"So a bunch of us signed up for the Trump rally here in Traverse City Friday to take all the free tickets we could and not show up," wrote a member of the "Blue Rev" Facebook group, which has more than 106,000 members.
"Blue Rev" is short for "Blue Revolution."
Trump supporters who have gotten wind of Harris supporters buying tickets and not showing up are posting about it on X.
Some users are criticizing Trump critic George Conway for encouraging his X followers to secure tickets for Trump's Madison Square Garden rally. Conway has been posting links this week to the sign-up page for tickets.
"Harris is IMPLODING and the Democrats KNOW IT. So now they try this desperate stunt of buying tickets to Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally and then not showing up just to show some empty seats," wrote one user. "Apparently rocket scientist George Conway is the one who came up with this BRILLIANT SCHEME."
"Harris supporters are purchasing tickets to Trump’s MSG rally & won’t show up, for the illusion of empty seats. DESPERATION!" wrote another.
