In a new political ad titled "Honor," Trump critic and Wyoming GOP Rep. Liz Cheney says she'd voter for a Democrat over Arizona Republican nominees Kari Lake, for governor, and Mark Finchem, for secretary of state, because of their views on election results.

"I don’t know that I have ever voted for a Democrat, but if I lived in Arizona, I absolutely would," Cheney says in the 30-second ad from her political action committee. "You have a candidate for governor, Kari Lake, you have a candidate for secretary of state Mark Finchem both of whom have said that they will only honor the results of an election if they agree with it."

The opening of the ad appears to be a video clip of comments she made earlier this month about Lake and Finchem at forum at Arizona State University earlier this month.

Cheney, whose opposition to former President Trump and his supporters cost her reelection this summer, also says in the ad: "And if you care about the survival of our Republic, we cannot give people power who will not honor elections. We must have elected officials who honor that responsibility,”

Cheney also recently endorsed Michigan Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin who is running against GOP challenger Tom Barrett.

"I'm proud to endorse Elissa Slotkin," Cheney said in a statement, according to The Hill. "Serving together on the Armed Services Committee, I have come to know Elissa as a good and honorable public servant who works hard for the people she represents, wants what’s best for the country, and is in this for the right reasons."
