Majority of registered voters say Trump won first debate against Biden: CNN poll

Most of the respondents also said they lacked confidence in Biden's ability to serve as president.

The majority of registered voters think former President Donald Trump won the presidential debate against President Biden on Thursday night, according to the results of a CNN poll of debate watchers that was conducted by SSRS.

The poll results showed 67% said Trump outperformed Biden compared to 33% who said Biden outperformed Trump.

Most of the respondents also said they lacked confidence in Biden's ability to serve as president. 

According to the poll, a majority of voters who watched the debate, 81%, said it did not change their mind about whom to vote for in the November general election.
