Majority of voters want Trump and Harris to debate twice: Poll
Trump has said he will debate Harris and that something would be announced soon
A majority of voters want former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris to debate, according to a new poll.
"Seventy percent (70%) of voters think presidential frontrunners Donald Trump and Kamala Harris should take part in both the Fox News and ABC debates next month," according to the results of a Napolitan News Service national survey of 1,000 registered voters.
Only 17% of voters said the two should not debate.
The poll also found that 77% of voters who support Trump and 67% of Harris voters would like the candidates to appear in two debates -- one hosted by Fox News and ABC News.
Trump previously agreed to debate Biden on Sept. 10 in a debate hosted by ABC News. Trump said that debate is no longer on the table for him, given that Biden is not the 2024 Democratic nominee. He also called ABC News "fake." His campaign has suggested that the next debate should be hosted by Fox News.
