Miami mayor not ruling out 2024 presidential run
Miami mayor won't rule out presidential run
Miami GOP Mayor Francis Suarez is not ruling out the possibility of running for president in 2024.
"It's a long way away," Suarez said Tuesday during an interview with FOX Business Network's Maria Bartiromo. "Right now, I'm excited to preside over the presidency of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and try to convince other mayors across America that the Miami model works, that they need to adopt it so that they can create prosperity in their cities."
He also said that if Miami continues to be successful, then his opportunities may expand if he decides he wants to continue his political career.
"If and when I come to that decision, you know I'll be discussing it with you, because you've been wonderful with our city," Suarez told Bartiromo.
