The Ohio Conference of Teamsters endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican, in the 2026 gubernatorial race after endorsing Democrats in the past.

He has already picked up endorsements from other union groups.

Fox News reported that the Ohio State Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters and the Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters endorsed Ramaswamy as well as Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Sherrod Brown.

The Cleveland Building & Construction Trades Council and the Northwest Ohio Building & Construction Trades Council also endorsed Ramaswamy, according to a report from the Ohio Dispatch.
