Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has been mostly inactive on social media following a raid on her home earlier this month, but she posted a video on her Facebook account on Wednesday asking supporters for campaign donations.

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support, to everyone who sent a note of support, for everyone who sent $5, $10, $20," Omar said in the brief video.

Omar told supporters that small donations go a long way to fight President Donald Trump and his administration, and she'll be campaigning to win back the House and Senate from the Republicans in the midterms.

She also accused the Trump administration of trying to intimidate her before the midterms.

"We know they're running scared. We're not going to be intimidated," Omar said.

A federal investigation is looking into allegations that Omar or her father lied about her birth year on immigration paperwork to obtain her citizenship when her family fled Somalia in the late 1990s. Federal agents with Homeland Security Investigations raided her home on Oct. 12.
