RFK Jr. issues apology for leaked video of phone call with Trump: 'Mortified'
RFK Jr.'s son posted the video of the conversation online where Trump discusses vaccines
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. issued an apology on Tuesday for the posting of his phone call with former President Trump, who survived an assassination attempt at a campaign rally on Saturday.
RFK Jr.'s son had posted the video of the conversation online. It has since been removed but others had already re-posted it.
"I should have ordered the videographer to stop recording immediately. I am mortified that this was posted. I apologize to the president," Kennedy said.
During the conversation, Trump told Kennedy that he's "going to win" the election and discusses vaccines. Kennedy has been skeptical of certain vaccines.
"Something's wrong with that whole system. And it's the doctors, you find," Trump said during the call.
