The Republican National Committee reported over the weekend that it is entering the midterm election year with $95.1 million in cash-on-hand, while the Democratic National Committee has amassed just $14 million in cash-on-hand.

The RNC also reported in year-end filings to the Federal Election Commission that it does not have any debt heading into a busy campaign season, while the DNC reported that it is $3.5 million in debt. 

The numbers come as House Democrats also trail Republicans in fundraising heading into the midterms, with the National Republican Congressional Committee touting a $117.2 million haul in 2025, while Democrats raised $115 million. 

Senate Democrats are faring slightly better than Republicans, with the Senate Democrats’ campaign arm reporting that it has $21.7 million in cash on hand, while the National Republican Senatorial Committee has $19.3 million, according to the Associated Press. However, Republicans outraised Democrats in the Senate by bringing in $88 million in 2025, compared to the Senate Democrats' $79.8 million.
