Vice President Kamala Harris defeated former President Donald Trump in a straw poll in the U.S. territory of Guam.

The territory doesn’t have any electoral votes, and the straw poll won’t count toward the U.S. election. Harris carried 49.45% of the vote in the poll to Trump's 46.22, the Times of India reported

In 2020, President Joe Biden was up 14 percentage points over Trump.

The straw poll has been held in every presidential election since 1980, and it has corresponded to the popular vote winner in every election since 2004, according to the New York Post
