Speaker Johnson to appear at fundraiser for Arizona House candidate Abe Hamadeh next week

Hamadeh won the GOP primary for the House seat currently occupied by Rep. Debbie Lesko, who decided not to seek re-election.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., is scheduled to appear in Arizona on Thursday, Aug. 22, for a fundraiser for the campaign of Abe Hamadeh.

Hamadeh won the GOP primary for the House seat currently occupied by Republican Rep. Debbie Lesko, who decided not to seek re-election.

According to the Arizona Globe, which obtained a copy of the invitation, the event will include a "roundtable and reception in support of Abe Hamadeh" at the home of Hamadeh's brother and sister-in-law Waseem and Leena Hamadeh.
