Teamsters union might not endorse a presidential candidate: Report

The union endorsed Biden in the 2020 race and the group's president addressed the GOP convention on Monday night but didn't endorse Trump

The Teamsters union is reportedly considering not formally endorsing any candidate the 2024 U.S. presidential race.

Reuters reports that the final decision has not been announced but it could be announced in the coming weeks.

The union endorsed Biden in the 2020 race. Biden often touts his strong support among unions.

Teamsters President Sean O'Brien spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Monday night. He applauded Trump for opening the convention doors to new voices and described Trump as "one tough SOB" after surviving an assassination attempt on Saturday and appearing at the convention on Monday. He stopped short of endorsing Trump.
