Former President Trump is slightly ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris by 1 point in the battleground state of Wisconsin, according to a new Trafalgar Group poll.

The survey asks voters which candidate they would vote for if the election were held tomorrow. Trump received 47.1% support compared to 46% for Harris.

According to the results from the poll conducted September 28-30, 3.8% said they were undecided while 3.1% selected "other."

The breakdown of the survey respondents was 36.4% Democrat, 36.1% Republican and 27.5% independent. About half of the respondents were male and half female.

Most of the respondents were older than 50 years of age, 71.7%, and 84.3% identified as white Americans.

In a poll from mid-July, Trafalgar Group had Trump leading President Biden by 3 points, before he dropped out of the race following the first presidential debate.

Other polls show Harris leading Trump by a thin margin in Wisconsin.

A New York Times/Siena College poll from September 21-26, Harris is leading Trump by 2 points.
