Trump unveils historic $100 billion investment in U.S. from Japan’s SoftBank

Trump wrote on social media Tuesday that anyone investing $1 billion or more in the United States “will receive fully expedited approvals and permits, including, but in no way limited to, all Environmental approvals.”

President-elect Donald Trump joined SoftBank Group CEO Masayoshi Son on Monday for an announcement that SoftBank is planning to invest $100 billion in U.S. projects over the next four years.

Trump delivered remarks and took questions at his Mar-a-Lago resort after the announcement.
