Trump campaign holding donor event in May featuring possible VP picks

Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota, Reps. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) and Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) are among those expected to attend

Former President Trump's 2024 presidential campaign is scheduled to hold a donor event in May featuring possible vice president picks.

GOP Sens. Tim Scott of South Carolina, J.D. Vance of Ohio and Marco Rubio of Florida are listed as attendees in addition to Govs. Doug Burgum of North Dakota and Kristi Noem of South Dakota,. Reps. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) and Byron Donalds (R-Fla.), also potential vice president picks, are also expected to participate. 

House Speaker Mike Johnson, Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) and Sens. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) are also expected attendees. More prominent guest will likely be announced closer to the gathering.

The private event, open to Trump donors, is scheduled to take place from May 3-5 in Palm Beach, Fla.
