Former President Donald Trump has decided on a running mate and it's not Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., or Gov. Doug Burgum, R-N.D., according to sources close the process.

He's expected to announce his choice publicly on Monday, which is the first day of the Republican National Convention.

Other potential vice presidential candidates on Trump's shortlist have been Ben Carson, former Housing and Urban Development secretary in Trump's administration, and freshman Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio.

Some have speculated that Trump might pick Gov. Glenn Youngkin, R-Va.
