Trump reveals Secret Service wanted to take him out on stretcher after shooting but he declined
"I said, 'I'm not going on a stretcher' because I just felt it was the ear," Trump says
Former President Trump revealed that Secret Service wanted to take him away on a stretcher after the assassination attempt during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania but he declined.
"They wanted to put me on a stretcher," Trump said in an interview with Fox News. "I said, 'I'm not going on a stretcher' because I just felt it was the ear."
Trump said declining the stretcher caused "a little argument," but Secret Service agents ultimately obliged.
Trump was shot in the ear and survived the assassination attempt. A rally attendee was killed and two others were injured.
