Trump's May, post-conviction fundraising haul beats Biden's, erases president's cash advantage
Trump raised tens of millions in the hours after he was convicted May 31 of 34 felonies in his felonly hush-money trial in new York City.
The presidential campaign for presumptive GOP Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee last month collectively raised $141 million, compared to $81 million by President Biden and the Democratic National Committee.
The haul effectively erased the Biden's cash advantage and now put Trump ahead $116.5 million, compared to $91.6 million at the start of June.
